This statement applies to the Tor website at https://www.tor.co.il and to related digital services that link here. Tor is committed to making them usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities.
Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the experience as the product changes and welcome reports about barriers that we have missed.
1. Accessibility standard
Israeli law requires covered websites to meet Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 Level AA, under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law and the service-accessibility regulations. We also aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
This statement describes our current implementation and target. It is not a certification that every page or third-party service is fully conformant.
2. Website adjustments
The website includes the following accessibility measures:
- keyboard access to navigation, links, buttons, forms, and interactive controls;
- semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and a main-content target for assistive technology;
- visible focus indicators on interactive controls;
- reduced or removed motion when the operating system requests reduced motion;
- Hebrew right-to-left and English left-to-right language and direction metadata;
- responsive layouts intended to support zoom and smaller screens.
3. Supported environments
The website is designed for current versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile. Accessibility can vary by browser, operating system, assistive technology, and third-party content.
4. Known limitations
Some third-party services opened from Tor, embedded media, older documents, or externally supplied content may not meet the same accessibility level. Their providers control those experiences.
The current website has not yet completed an independent accessibility certification. We will update this statement when a formal review is completed and will prioritize barriers reported by users.

If information or an action is not accessible to you, contact us and describe the page, the action you were trying to complete, and the assistive technology or browser used. We will make a reasonable effort to provide the information or service in an accessible alternative.
