This policy explains how appointment cancellations, late-cancellation fees, no-show fees, deposits, and refunds work when a business uses Tor.
Each business sets its own booking policy within Tor. The exact terms shown before confirmation and stored with the appointment apply to that booking. Tor provides the technology and payment tools; the business remains responsible for the service and its customer policy.
1. The policy saved with your booking
Before confirming an appointment, review the business's free-cancellation window, whether late cancellation needs approval, and any late-cancellation or no-show fee. Those terms are saved with the appointment.
A business may change its settings for new bookings, but an existing appointment keeps the terms accepted when it was booked.
2. Free cancellation
A business may allow free cancellation until the appointment starts or until 1, 2, 4, 12, 24, 48, or 72 hours before it starts. The booking screen and appointment details show the applicable window.
A cancellation made before the cutoff is processed without a late-cancellation fee. At the exact cutoff, the cancellation is considered late.
3. Late cancellation and no-show fees
Depending on the policy accepted at booking, a business may configure one of these fee methods:
- no fee, in which case a late self-service cancellation may be unavailable;
- a fixed amount shown in the business currency;
- a percentage of the relevant booking price;
- keeping the amount already paid as a deposit, without an additional fee.
4. Cancellation approval requests
A business may require approval for a late cancellation. In that case, sending the request does not cancel the appointment immediately. It remains upcoming until the business approves it.
If the business declines the request, the appointment remains active. If it approves, the stored booking policy is applied and any applicable fee may be recorded or charged.
5. Refunds
A refund is issued only after the business approves it or when Tor must reverse a failed or duplicate payment. The amount can be full or partial and may account for a valid cancellation fee, a used service, or a retained deposit.
Approved online refunds are returned through the original payment provider. The time until the credit appears depends on that provider and the customer's bank or app store. Cash or other offline refunds are handled directly by the business.
6. Cancellation by the business
If a business cancels or cannot provide the booked service, contact it directly to arrange a replacement appointment or refund. A business cannot use its own cancellation policy to remove rights that applicable law gives the customer.
7. Consumer rights
This policy does not limit any mandatory right under applicable consumer-protection, payment-services, or other law. If the law gives you a more favorable cancellation or refund right, the law prevails.
8. Questions and disputes
Start with the business that provided or was due to provide the service. It controls the appointment policy and can review what happened. Include the appointment date, business name, and payment reference, but never send a password or full payment-card number.
For a technical problem in Tor or an unresolved payment-processing issue, contact support@tor.co.il.
9. Tor software subscriptions
Customers use Tor without a paid plan. Business tools are a software subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, with a 14-day trial where offered. Cancel or change that subscription in the store account that charged you. Deleting the Tor account does not by itself stop store billing.
This section covers the Tor software plan. Appointment cancellations and refunds for a booked service follow the business policy in sections 1 to 8. Mandatory consumer rights for distance contracts, including any cooling-off right that applies to the software subscription, are not limited by this page.
